| Yo! Welcome to my bio page. Lets see... where do I begin. I started my life down the road most traveled and when I was born, the date was strangely the same date as my birthday. I grew up and when I was 5 I lived in Africa and had a pet goat and some chickens. One day some of my chickens died and we had some chicken for dinner and my mom said it was the chickens. I am still scarred from that. I broke my arm and the found that I had some type of weak bone or something (I don't exactly know what happened, I was too young), so I had to come back to America. Ok, enough about when I was a chitlan. When I was like 13 or something, wait..... hmmm... around 6th grade, I joined an imaginary band with my best friend. It was imaginary because we couldn't play any instruments. But in the 8th grade we actualle learned how to play them. I took up violin and alex took up the bass. I was learning the violen at school. But then I learned guitar and didn't practice my violen that much and my teacher got made. She was a funny little lady. So we became a band. We got this drummer with the name of David. We had a practice and the first song we learned was "My Own Worst Enemy" by Lit. After a while we booked up a show at this 24 hour bhike race thing. After a week or so, David (by the way this is not the David (Jaymes) who is our bassist) told us that he could not make the show. That made us mad so we got rid of him, ha, yeah just like that. We still wanted to get ready for the show, but circumstances and other stuff wouldn't let us. Oh i know, if you want to know the bio of that band... click>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Well, that's the Herbie's Landing story. So, we eventually broke up because of distance, and me and Dave started having jam sessions. So we decided to become a band. Our first practice was awesome, we made a song called "Mosh Pit Granny". It was really cool. I like wanted to look good at the guitar so I made this little riff that sounds hard, but it's not too hard, unless its cold cause then your fingers won't move that fast. So we had our first practice. And we still needed a drummer. As you know if you read the Herbie's Landing bio, drumers are always the problem. So this guy Kyle Walker, heard of him? Well he said he would drum for us, but he needed a set. So we asked around and found this guy Bruce who said he would donate a set to us. So one night I went to his house and picked up the drumset. I was surprised that it was actually pretty good. So that Saturday I called up Kyle and told him about the rehearsal we were having that say. Then he broke the news to me... he said he couldn't be in the band because he was in another band and they don't want him to be in another band. :( .....that kinda made me sad. So that day I called up my friend Jimi and asked him if we wanted to learn the drums and be our drummer. He said yes and was super excited about it. So he would come over everyday and practice. Well, soon Kyle said he could be our drummer. At first I was like, there's no way. Jimi has been trying to hard, I can't just drop him like that. But then I though about it and we really wanted to have a show soon. So we decided we would let Kyle be the drummer and Jimi would be our manager. So we had some practices with Kyle and he was awesome. So at first Kyle barely comes to practice and doesn't seem that interested in the band at all. So I start freaking out and I talk to one of my friends (Pete) about being our drummer. He is really good. But we tried him out one day and he was awesome. He was very intimidating how he would molest those drums like it was nothing. But we decided we would give Kyle another chance. So we had some more practices and Kyle started to seem like he was interested in the band. He actually started asking us when the next practice was and stuff like that. So then we started to record our cd. I think it sounds awesome. It took so much out of me though to cut out like 100 front and 100 back cd covers and to burn all the cds. Luckily my gf helped me burning some. So now secretly we are hoping Kyle will decide to be a permanent drummer instead of part time because we sound really good and drummers are always hard to find. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
