PMEC is a natonal health project which aims to address the problem of the low coverage of Measles immunization for  children that has resulted in sporadic outbreaks of the disease in various parts of the country. Measles vaccination was provided for all children aged 9 months to below 8 years old and Vitamin A to all children 9 months to below 6 years old. In Calasiao, a total of 18,385 children were given their Measles shots.
