I have treasured memories
Memories of a wedding day
Where promises were made,
And promises kept
Memories of a new
Start on a life we just begun

I have treasured memories
Of a first born child
Memories of a joyous day
After a long anticipated wait

I have treasured memories
Of birthday wishes with hugs and kisses
Memories of times long gone
But not forgotten

I have treasured memories
Of walks in the park
And swims in the dark
Memories of blue skies and birds passing by

I have treasured memories
Of Christmas nights by candle lights
Memories of Christmas trees
And hidden treasures

I have treasured memories
Of a New Years Eve
And a stolen kiss
Memories of times left behind
And new things to come

I have treasured memories
Memories of you and me
And things that have passed in-between

I have treasured memories
I keep these memories dear
In my heart and in my mind

These memories will never
Fade or be forgotten
Where I go there sure to follow

I have treasured
These memories my whole life through

And should I die and rest asleep
Cherish these memories
Because you see they are a part of me
