Many anticipated games have been updated with pictures and new details.  All of these are sequels and seem to have included a co-op mode, if the first game did not.
Mario Kart: Double Dash!!
-One of the most wanted game on the GameCube, Mario Kart is back! This time it has 2 people in 1 kart, with 1 player controlling the kart and the other controlling the items.  You can switch off between them.  There are so far 16 confirmed characters: Mario, Luigi,  Peach, Baby Mario, Baby Luigi, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, Koopa, Koopa Jr., Koopa Troopa, Paratroopa, Daisy, Birdo, Walugi, and Wario.  There is most likely also Bowser and Baby Bowser.  The game also makes use of the LAN capability allowing up to 8 people to play.
Star Wars Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike
-This time around, Factor 5 is incorporating co-op and multiplayer.  You can also battle on foot now with a blaster or lightsaber.  There was even a screen with Luke going up on an AT-AT and throwing a bomb in, like in Empire Strikes Back.  In co-op, there is rumor that you can play thorugh the Rogue Leader missions.  An Endor forest battle is confirmed with speeder bike mission.  Looks great.
(Rogue Squadron 2)
Pikmin 2
-You'll notice first the new character.  His rumoured name is Loojie.  He partners with Olimar to get rid of their company debt.  They look around the planet for treasures.  You can switch between them also.  There's also more Pikmin colors, purple and white.  The purple one looks fat and the white is skinnier.  And finally there is no time limit.  It looks really fun.
The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King
-Little is known about this title, except that it is being published by EA and now will have a co-op mode.  It will be released this fall and is going to be really hyped up.
As you can see, all of these game had a co-op mode and are going to be great.  Let's hope we'll see more at E3 2003!
