Chez Bernd (Gratz):
The city's mediaval walls and the inscription on them
The cathedrale
The tomb of several Austrian Emperors who were buried there.
An interesting little statue of a Turk. When invading Europe, they came all the way to Gratz where they were defeated. The people in Gratz hurled their Turkish prisonners from the windows.
The City Hall
The clock tower situated on the hill where once a castle stood. Napoleon tried to destroy the castle, but as it was too well defended, he instead just took over the whole country and then forced the citizens on Gratz to tear it down. They had to pay him to let them keep the clock tower. Thegears of the clock and a view of the city from beside it.
Also a view of the clock tower from the bottom of the hill.
