I havent updated in about a week. Ive been really really busy. For starters, its Summer, and we're out every day, usually till about 9 or 10 at night. We come in for meals, and thats about it! I spend a lot of time at the pool working on my tan, and yesterday I finally managed to bring the kids in too.
Also Ive been working on a cribset for Emily. When Em was born, a neighbor made her an absolutely adorable quilt. Id been having a hard time finding a cribset for Em that I liked, and I just LOVED the quilt. I decided to make a whole set to match the quilt, but when I went to walmart, they were all out of the fabrics she used!! Well, finally, 11 months later, I found the fabric at another walmart. Em now has a complete matching cribset. Right now Im just working on a throw pillow and a lightweight blanket to match.
Another thing keeping me away from the computer, is Emily teething. That poor girl has been cutting teeth since just before we left on vacation, and there is no end in sight. And she gets MISERABLE when she teeths. Thankgod she takes the baby motrin willingly.
4th of July was fun. We just spent it here and watched the fireworks the neighbors were doing, and Bob did some smaller stuff of his own. Fireworks are totally legal here in Indiana, so often times, what the neighbors have is as good as the stuff the towns do!! One of the pictures below is of Cameron and his friend Jessica, watching the fireworks on our steps. I thought it was just too sweet. I absolutely adore that girl! Cameron would be livid if he knew I took that picture! |
