WAITING FOR ROBBIE
12/11/02 4 weeks

Yes ladies and gentlemen, Im pregnant. See? Up there?? Thats a positive pregnancy test! TWO lines! I tested 4 days early and I STILL got nearly instant results! The amazing part is we concieved on the FIRST try!

Cameron is very excited. He is hoping for a boy, he said 2 girls in the family is enough.

Janie is befuddled, as always. But the other night, she went to climb in my lap, stopped halfway and asked "Am I gonna squish the baby mamma?"

Bob is less than excited, but Im used to that by now. Bob isnt very interested in pregnancy, but once the baby pops out, he goes into Super Dad Mode.

Im just SURE it will be a boy. I just know. I knew Janie would be a girl and I know this one will be a boy. He will be named Robert Bruce, for Bob and his dad.  But we'll call him Robbie.

I am due around the end of August/early September. I dont do duedates! They annoy me. My first doctor visit will be after the new year.

Im already experiencing some mild early pregnancy symptoms. Mainly sensetivity to smells, achey boobs and killer moodswings.

I intend to update this site regularly, adding monthy belly photos, ultrasound pictures and doctor visit info, so be sure to check back often!

Well, this is my first official belly pic. Baby is approximately the size of a raspberry and my uterus is approximately tennis ball sized. SO that means all you see in this picture is FAT!

The black band at the top is the bottom of my bra. Im facing to the left, with my hands behind my back.

My first OB appt is scheduled for Jan 30th. Morning sickness is killing me!
2/5/03 11 weeks 6 days

Tomorrow is the last day of my first trimester! The pic on the right was taken just tonight. Baby is about 3 inches and weighs just about an ounce and a half.

I had my first OB appointment Jan 30th, It was an absolute disaster and I am NOT going back to that woman. I have to call tomorrow morning and schedule an appointment with a doctor who is, hopefully,  NOT as excited about forceps.

Morning sickness is finally subsiding. I ate 3 normal meals today, for the first time in I can't even remember how long! The fatigue is going away too. I start my pregnancy exercise tapes next week. Just some mild aerobics/toning.

I found a cradle that I just LOVE, but I'm not doing any real shopping just yet. Janie can't wait though; every time we go to the store, she asks if we can buy this and that for the baby. She is always listening to my belly and telling me how "fat" my belly is.
