Introducing... |
Jayden Donald LeBlanc!! |
I arrived in the Labor & Delievery room at the Hospital approx 4:15 p.m. I was 3 cm dilated after my arrival; and was 4cm dilated when they checked me again at 5:45. At that time they called the anestesiologist for my epidural. He was in the middle of his supper at home in Irishtown and as a result he did not arrive for another fifty minutes. By the time he arrived, I was literally in unbearable pain and the nurse figured if she checked my dilation I would be far too dilated and the anestesiologist would not have given me the edpidural. (She knew I could not handle the pain and had mercy on me...which I really thank the Lord for!!) The epidural was given about 6:55pm and as soon as I laid back down on the bed my water broke and my membranes ruptured! I was 10 cm dilted. (Talk about seconds counting for the epidural!) I began pushing at 7:00pm and my baby was born within 3 contractions thereafter...only 14 minutes later!! What a pleasant surprise! I gave birth to a very healthy beautiful baby boy. We are soooo happy! |
