Milo is a service dog in training through Helping Paws. He is a Golden Retriever, born on August 9, 2002. When he was eight weeks old, he went to live with Sara and Tanya, his foster and training home.

Milo attends weekly training class with Sara and Tanya. He practices at home and in public and is exposed to a variety of places, people, and other experiences. After two and a half years of training he will be placed with an individual with a physical disability, accompanying them to assist in daily life.

Milo also lives with two dachshunds, Parker and Molly, two cats, Niles and Ella, and Guido the iguana.

Milo enthusiastically does his job and enjoys working. Because of his sweet disposition, easy-going nature, and willingness to learn, working with Milo is a joy. After a full day on the job, Milo has down time and is a "regular" dog who loves to be active and playful!
