Akuma, Raging Demon, vs Guo Jing, Condor-Shooting Hero
Guo Jing palmed his fist in a martial arts salute. "I am Guo Jing, the Hero of the North. May I ask your legendary and esteemed name, elder?"
"Spare the pleasantries." Akuma returned the salute with a Hadouken. A brilliant blue ball of chi sped towards Guo Jing at the speed of sound. An ordinary man would have froze like a deer in some hunter's headlights, or maybe ran a few steps before he was incinerated by the Hadouken.
Guo Jing was not an ordinary man.
Cupping his hands together, Guo felt his own chi rising from his dan tian, coursing through his Governing and Conceiving meridians, and traveling to his hands. Twisting his hands in a figure eight, the Hero pushed out his right palm. A giant golden dragon burst out and collided with the Hadoken, stopping it. Guo Jing turned and pushed out with both hands, sending out an
even bigger dragon. This one also collided with the Hadoken, causing both projectiles to dissipate with a very loud exploding noise.
"Eighteen Dragon Subduing Palms?" Akuma tilted his head.
I thought that style went extinct 200 years ago, he mused. Then a more pleasant thought came to him. Of course. I can use this to test my abilities. I WILL become the world's strongest fighter! Akuma immediately leaped into the air and fired off two Hadokens at his adversary.
Guo Jing saw this and got in a low horse stance. Utilizing Zhou Botong's Ambidexterity Technique, he claps out a Dragon Flying in the Sky with his left hand and a Dragon Battling in the Wild with his right. The two palm strikes meet the two Hadoukens, and all four projectiles exploded.
"To think someone with such power never entered a World Warriors contest..." Akuma thought. He brushed his thoughts aside to concentrate on more important matters. The Japanese man leaped into the air and spun with his right leg out in a perfectly executed Hurricane Kick. The gale-force winds generated by Akuma's leg spilled drinks in the nosebleed seats and ripped off an indignant female audience member's shirt. She was later placated by some monetary compensation.
Guo Jing merely stood in place. As Akuma made his way towards his opponent, a maniacal look of glee appeared on his face as he anticipated the crunch of his foot making contact with Guo Jing's face. Thus, one can imagine Akuma's look of surprise as he realized his foot had sank into what felt like a giant pillow. Next thing he knew, he was spinning in the air, his foot caught in Guo Jing's hands.
"What kind of fighting style is this!?" Akuma roared. Guo Jing smiled.
"Void Enlightenment Fist." Guo spun so that he now had Akuma's right leg slung across his back. Spinning some more, Guo Jing let go, sending Akuma crashing into the ground.
"Mongolian wrestling?" Akuma stared at Guo Jing in disbelief. "Misogi!" Guo Jing dodges the chop and meets the follow-up Shoryuken with another Dragon Subduing Palm. Shinku Hadouken met Dragon God Swings its Tail, another Hadouken met a Dragon Leaping over Gorge, and a Shoryuken was deflected by the Void Enlightenment Fist.
Akuma finally decided that something must be done to end the fight. "Shun Goku Satsu!" He charged at Guo Jing. The audience gasps. Half of them expected Guo Jing to pull through, half of them expected the "Heaven" character to flash as Akuma stood on a dead Guo Jing, 75% exchanged bets, and the remaining 25 prayed that their own bets were good.
A brilliant white light covered the arena. Several small explosions were heard. When the light cleared, both fighters remained standing. However, Akuma looked worse for the wear. Desperate for a victory, he had forgotten that the Shun Goku Satsu could be defended against if the victim cleared his mind of all desire, guilt, hatred and anger.
Guo Jing did that a long time ago.
     "Shinku Hadouken!"
"Observe the Dragon in the Fields! Riding the Six Guardian Dragons!"
Guo Jing's hits connect, bringing Akuma to his knees. As Guo ascends the steps to Round 2, Akuma paused to catch his breath.
     "Guo Jing...until next time..."
