Across the arena, Dexter strode in carrying a rather large backpack. "I am Dexter, boy genius, and I am here to show you that you are stupid!" The boy genius announced as he looked up to his adversary.
Harry scratched his head and wondered what the hell was going on. His thoughts were interrupted by a loud "Engage Dodgeball Attack Frame!" as Dexter's backpack exploded in a burst of machinery. Giant metallic limbs attached themselves to Dexter's arms and legs, and a protective frame formed around Dexter's body. In the stands, Arthur Weasely stared goggle-eyed.
Dexter wasted no time in firing a barrage of explosive dodgeballs at Harry. Thinking quickly, Harry Potter waved his wand around in a strange pattern. "Portego!" Dexter was quite surprised to see his dodgeballs bounce harmlessly off an invisible bubble.
"Reducto!" A spark shot out of Harry's wand, colliding against Dexter's Dodgeball Attack Frame. It's fist exploded in a shower of sparks, spinning it back. Harry took this oppurtunity to fire off two more Reductus curses, depriving the Dodgeball suit of one of its legs. Dexter promptly ejected out of his suit.
"Rats! Why do I even bother witht this suit, it always does not work!" Mumbling angrily,
"What is so funny?" Dexter demanded.
Harry paid him no heed. Waving his wand, Harry muttered something nonsensical. All of a sudden, Dexter felt his robot collapse.
"What did you do to my beautiful robot!" Dexter demanded.
In the stands, Hermione grinned. Turning to Ron, she whispered to him, "See, this is why we learn Transfiguration!"
Indeed, as Dexter soon found, his robot was now being held together by a bunch of snails. The Hogwarts students in the audience clapped, but everyone else groaned at the method of victory.
Hermione went on. "Nails into snails...quite simple really...All you gotta do is..."
