Born in New York in April of 1997 Welling is relatively new to the acting world. Moving to LA recently with only high school theater under his belt found work in the modeling world. (With that face there isn't a doubt)

Welling's big break arose with a recurring role on the CBS drama "Judging Amy" as "Robert Meltzer" a romantic interest for the leading lady...

                

 

More recently Welling has appeared on the fox sitcom "Undeclared" and of course now commands the role of CK on the WB sitcom "Smallville." The role of Clark on "Smallville" explores a young Superman as he comes to grips with understanding the inhuman powers he possesses while trying to lead a normal life.
