Yahoo Glitches, Bloops and Problems
The following are problems that have been reported by members of Illinois Singles in their Yahoo Groups or on our associated GeoCities website. All problems are listed and then reported to Yahoo.

12/26/03: Yahoo Members still missing profile information. Not all members are affected. Not sure what the formula is. My profile is affected and that of some older members I know. I note that newer members have all their age, location and gender information.
12/16/03: Yahoo is having a heydey in messing with us again.
If you check the members list you will find it devoid of any profile information what-so-ever. This is an across the board problem that is being reported in the Management Groups this morning as well.
Hopefully this is a glitch, else it certainly will put a wrinkle in searching for sinlgles in Groups. It has not affected the Membership Directory and searches in there still reveal the limited profile information such as sex, age, location etc.
And, along with that, if you look at Sharon's post you will see "'s " a typo, in her caption. This typo is also appearing across the boards in all sorts of places. The typo does not appear in the expanded version of the message. We are not sure what that is an indication of at all?
12/9/03: Mail delivery is extremely slow/delayed up to one hour. Not seeing reports from other Groups yet but I noticed it starting about 48 hours ago on groups other than Illinois Singles Consortium.
11/7/03: Hotmail Accounts: Hotmail sorts YGs mail into a bulk mail folder by default, so each individual Hotmail user will
have to configure their Hotmail account to send their spam and bulk mail into a junk folder (rather than autodelete) or they never will get the group mail or the subscription verifications.
11/5/03: It is reported that IFrames is back on Yahoo
10/25: Yahoo and AOL continue to battle over email. The AOL users are not receiving their mail. AOL says that Yahoo has to fix it, Yahoo says they have. Net result customer in middle not getting their mail. Suggest you contact Yahoo and AOL customer service over and over until they are overwhelmed with notificiation that, despite their assurances, IT IS NOT FIXED! Please advise me when you do start receiving your mail on Groups and I will retract this advise. Kathleen.
10/20: Mail issue appears to have been rectified. No further problems reported.
10/18: IFrames now can not be used in Groups on Home Pages
10/18: AOL mail not being delivered. AOL/YAHOO disagreement it appears.
9/2/03:Changed email preferences not recognized.Reported.
9/1/03:
My ISP has Yahoo-inc.com blocked for spam/black listed address and cannot get technical support from Yahoo. NOT FIXED.
8/30/03:
Yahoo Group mail is on a Spam black list causing some members to bounce all Group mail. Contact your ISP to rectify.
8/2/03:
Continuing problem with people who unsubscribe still getting mail. Report to Yahoo. Moderators cannot fix.
