NSR Mini with TZ125 USD Forks
My original plan was to purchase a set of inverted forks from Takegawa. The problem was that they were really expensive! I decided to go another route: get a set of inverted forks off of a real GP bike! I first got this idea from my NSR friend Jamie. He told me that he had seen some guys put RS125 forks onto a Monkey bike. Then I said "how about a set of 125 forks on a NSR mini?" At first I thought it was a crazy idea, but as I kept thinking about it, the better is sounded. Jamie then found these forks for me from a late model Yamaha TZ125 GP race bike. I really love these forks because they are fully adjustable for preload and rebound! They also have that cool clamp on style mounting for the front wheel axle.

Here are some pics of the forks being trial fitted on a NSR frame I have. The fork tubes will need to be raised up from the triple clamp approx 1.5" for the front axle hole to be level with the rear swing arm axle hole. I have my work cut out for me because there will be a lot of modification required to make these forks work!  Stay tuned for more pics of this interesting project!!!
