| This 1988 Yamaha YSR50 was my first street legal motorcycle! It was purchased from a guy in Santa Monica California. Me and my dad had to drive 1000 miles from Oregon to pick it up! This bike was such a fun bike. I rode it almost everyday during the summer! The insurance was super cheap ($8.00 a month) and had great gas milage. I would ride it everywhere! The bike was completely stock except for the red paint job and japanese Spec rear turn signals (which filled up the two holes in the rear cowl). The original wheels were powdercoated white by the guy I bought it from, but I did not like those colors so I painted them metallic grey. I also put new front/rear sprokets with different number of teeth from the factory size for more acceleration. But I had to sell it in order to purchase my 1988 Honda NSR50. |
