Ministry of Attack Airsoft MP5K Review
The Tokyo Marui MP5 series needs no introduction within the world of airsoft, the classic looks and good performance create one of the most widely used airsoft guns on the market.

There is not a lot that can be said about the MP5K that hasn't already been said about the other MP5 series guns. So this review will only concentrate on the differences. For a more in depth look at this series of guns see the
MP5A5 or the MP5SD6 review.

Aesthetics:

As with the A5 Marui have done a stunning job with this gun, the fininshing on the ABS could easily be mistaken for metal, and weld marks on the reciever are faithfully reproduced. As with all of the MP5 series from Marui the MP5K features the navy style trigger group (Safe, semi, and full) with bullet pictograms to illustrate the selector position.

This gun is a featherweight!

Performance

The MP5k's short barrel limits some its use at longer ranges as the hop up is very sensitive and this can make the bb take strange trajectories at longer ranges. Otherwise the performance is the same as the rest of the series.

Upgradeability:

The series 2 gearbox used in both the MP5 and M16 series is almost infinitly upgrageable, any muzzle velocity under 500fps you could ever dream of is available if you have the £££. However, the power upgrades are limiter by the use of a stick battery which i am told will not cycle the gun when used in conjunction with upgraded springs.

As I am sure you will all know the MP5 series is possibly the gun with the most number of accesories available. Here is just a short list of what you could put on your MP5K:

Scope
Flashlight
Laser
RIS
Pistol grip
Extended outer barrel
Mag clamp
Drum Mags (single and double)
etc.....

And Finally.....

The MP5K is a little short for my tastes and to be honest isnt really the best primary weapon, however, it can and has been used verry effectivly...... all in all not a very good weapon for the beginner..
