Someone asked, the other day,
what does "trust" mean?
What is "Trust"?
In a sense, "Trust" equals:
"Truth" times "Force"
One way to look at the word "trust" is:
"True" + "thrust" ...
Combined, they would equal "trust" !
"Thrust" is the measure of a force;
one akin to "must" (the force of obligation),
and "just" (the force of Karma),
or "bust" (force breaking-through)...
We can generally believe-in
and follow someone who is "true,"
someone who is centered
on truth. We can "trust"
that soul all the more so,
if that person has truth
in conjunction with
"force and conviction."
One student,
Kwak Suk-Chun--the founder of L.A.M.P
(the League Against Math and Physics)--pointed out that:
"True" plus "Thrust" also equals "Thru"...
True, said I.
But, even so, the connotations of
"thru" (through) suggests "completion,
fulfillment, done"... implying
"someone who will go with us
all the way."
Trust.
A most important virtue.
