Ivy decided to give herself a wonderful third birthday present by going WB for a 3-point major, BOW, BOB over Specials! Then for the "icing on the cake" she went on to a Group 3 placement under Judge- Dr Sam Burke, JR at the Oak Ridge Kennel Club, May 19, 2001!! All this on her very FIRST show!!! The very next day she repeated the performance by going BOB and making the cut to fifth place in Group under Judge Margaret Mickelson!! Thank you, Crystal Stoner, for handling Ivy to Breed both days and making a dream-come-true weekend!!
And as if it could not get better.....The same birthday show, Ivy's brother, Mirthaven The Dramatist-"Shakespeare", went WD and her daughter, Mirthaven Rose To The Occassion-"Rose", went RWB, both wins from the Bred By classes!! These were MY first ever owner-handled points, and (needless to say...) Group win!! It was a wonderful "birthday surprise package", a day surrounded by friends, and one I will remember for a looong time!!! :-)

To make this moment one of still sweeter memories was to be standing next to special friend and mentor, Dona Williams, who finished my first CH, "Tucker", and coached me around the Group ring to this win! ;-) Thank you, Dona!
Ivy gets another major and Best Opposite under Breeder/Judge Mildred Nicoll, owner handled! Sitting on ten points, she will be home growing her winter coat and enjoying being a couch potato. :-) Thank you Meredith and Islemist Presentation for Ivy's "making the cut" from Open Sable @ ASSA National-Judge Joe Malloy, and for her five-point Specialty Major Reserve, Indiana, under Judge Katy Gammil!
