Anyways, we made our first live appearence in Steve Fallis' garage on april 15 2000... we video taped it so when we're famous we can sell it on e-bay for outrageous prices. Since then we have played in some significant places around BC and Alberta such as the infamous Java Joint and Cobalt Hotel and with great bands like The Smugglers, Flashlight Brown, Closet Monster and many others. In May 2000 we recorded a CD entitled "Paster Of Muppets". Again, in March 2001 we recorded 10 songs, these made up our "Self Titled Debut Album" which is on sale now. We currently have some new material and are planning on recording in two seperate sessions for our next full length. When it will be out is beyond us. It will certainly be more professional than our last ones because I am tired of being an independent band and no matter how hard we tried, we learned how to play our instruments (somewhat).

So now on year three Mr. Sparkle is looking better than ever. We are always excited (yes excited!) about playing shows around BC (and possibly other provinces, countries, Galaxies etc). We recently toured to Alberta and back and currently have no plans... at all whatsoever. If you think you could help out with a show or just want to say hi, contact us at

Mr Sparkle was formed on November 14 1999 in a basement which contained an electric guitar, a small amp, drum set, a gentleman named Jackson and a gentleman named Matthew. Finding that music was the clear road to financial and spiritual success, these two otherwise untalented individuals decided to pursue their musical endeavours. Within three months after the first songs were written the band had more than enough gear needed to hold up an act, including a bass player. The original line up consisted of Jackson-Guitar, Matt-Drums and Jp Lancaster-Bass. In late 2000 Jp Lancaster left for religious reasons and Colin P O'neill took his spot. In Februrary 2001 Colin left after little more than a year in Mr Sparkle's left stage area. The band was bassless for the longest two weeks of this decade. One day... a Saturday, Steve Fallis joined the band after selling enough coloured vinyl to buy himself a bass guitar. After one of the best summers of rock and roll to live, Steve announced his leaving the band in spring 2003. In June 2003, Mr. Sparkle announced their end was coming, but that there would be at least one last show before a long hiatus explained in the news section. For this they recruited Henrik Braun, a gentleman on exchange from Germany who would most definately provide the rockingest bass imaginable. We are Mr. Sparkle.
