Your Voice

Now it is time to gather the information you have collected thus far and put it to good use.

Refer to your notes from task 1 and task 3 to esatblish a controlling idea about solitude.  Using evidence from both passages and the poem, develope your idea into a 3-4 page typed essay showing how Cormier and Wilcox use specific literary elements or techniques to convey the concept of loneliness.  You may also refer to the art work in task 4 to further support your thesis.

Grading Rubric
