Dear Jane
The Dear Jane quilt is a sampler of two hundred and twenty five patterns from a quilt made by Jane Stickle, dated 1863. The blocks and triangles were drafted and published by Brenda Manges Papadakis in her book "DearJane - The Two-Hundred Twenty-Five Patterns from the 1863 Jane A. Stickle Quilt". The quilt blocks are approximately 4.5 inches square, and the top is surrounded by pieced triangles. I started piecing my Baby Janes on August 8th, 1999 following Jane's trip around the world design. I put the last stitch on the binding on March 31st, 2003. Her name is Seasons Of Memories.
Seasons Of Memories hanging at Seaport Quilters Guild, in April 2003.
The top was completed on June 15th, 2001, click here for pictures.

New: Started on June 2001, my second Dear Jane quilt. This time around, I'll be using 30's reproductions and white. Click on the block to see my new baby Janes.
My friends Carleen and Jeri have also started a Dear Jane. We've put a page together to compare notes and encourage each other.
