Welcome to Cats, Knots & Needles. I've put together a sample of finished quilts, works in progress and cat pictures. My name is Maria, I've been quilting since 1987. I am mostly a hand piecer who also enjoys the speed of machine piecing. Most of all, I love hand quilting. I prefer traditional colors and patterns. When I am not quilting, I cross stitch reproduction samplers. I'm also the proud mom of three cats, Tito, Phoebe, and Shrillbert who have their own corner on this page.

June 2006 update: I've been adding new projects to a blog and pictures of my new quilts to photo albums that can be found here and here. I've also been working on a new sampler reproduction quilt, Nearly Insane. The blocks I've made so far are on a virtual wall here.
August 2003 Update: Seasons Of Memories, my baby Jane is finished. More new projects just started.
August's Update: Baby quilt done, leftover block wall hanging top pieced, a medallion wall hanging top and a class sampler in digitized form.
April's Update: Dear Jane's quilting in progress, new appliquéd blocks, baby quilt in the works, and a few more pictures.
October 2001 Update: Red Sampler finished, Dear Jane top done, second Dear Jane just started, one wall hanging finished and new scrap projects in the works.
