My Favorites

Barksdale's Window. My second quilt, and still probably my favorite. Hand pieced and hand quilted lap sized (43" x 66"). Click on the pictures above to see a large version.

Louisiana On My Mind. This wallhanging (38" x 38") was hand pieced with fabrics swapped with members of my quilting group. I started it in 1996 and put the finishing stitches in October 1998. To see swatches of the fabrics used, click on the picture.

Summertime Blues. The blocks are hand pieced and hand appliqued, date and initials embroidered inside the Variable Star block. It was made in 1992 as a teaching sampler. 30" x 30", hand quilted.

War And Piece. January-April 1991. Turkey Track blocks, 40" x 40", hand pieced and hand quilted. A baby quilt I pieced for a friend's daughter while the Gulf War was taking place. Pattern from Small Quilts, by Marsha McCloskey.
