"Seventeen Again" is the long awaited screenplay by Stewart St. John involving two very similar looking young women, a smart kid and some magic soap.

In other words this script has Mowry written all over it. Tia and Tamera are back on the screen in a story that seems perfect for them. This may not come as a surprise considering the fact that their mother Darlene Mowry was co-producing. Brother Tahj also stars in this film.

It's a modern fairytale of sort addressing the whole family. It has elements of comedy, science and magic but also serious topics like everyday teenage trouble, parenthood, generation gabs, love and friendship. All wrapped up in a thrilling countdown storyline.

The film was made for television and should be viewed as such. Still all actors are doing an excellent job. Tia and Tamera are able to display many different sides of their talents in this film.
And what a display it is. For an old 'Sister Sister' fan like me it was very refreshing to see this kind of acting from the girls.
