We Made It!!
Pastor George Dever
It is good to be in the Northeast.  I thank God that my two children, Tiffany and Jacob, and I had traveling grace to arrive safely.  There is coming a day when we can say, "We Made It", in it's greatest meaning.  It will be when we see Jesus coming in His glory and receiving all that He has for us.  Before we can say we made it there, there needs to be a change in our lives here.  First there needs to be repentance to the Lord.  (Acts 17:30; Mark 1:15)
Secondly, God wants us to live our lives worthy of Him.  For Paul says, "I am not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ for it is the power of God unto salvation to those who believe, to the Jews first and then to the Gentiles."  By being saved we are in the resurrection of the saved.  I would also like to receive all God has for me, as Matthew 25:21 reads, "His lord said unto him, Well done, though good and faithful servant, though thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things enter thou into the joy of the Lord."  My hope for the church here in Rome is that she will be able to obtain all that God has for her.
Thank you for your prayers.  They are very much appreciated.  Please remember my wife who is still in Kansas trying to sell our house.

Our new pastor, Bro. George Dever, has arrived, and presently looking to find a place to live, a job and getting his two teens into school.

For now Bro. George Dever is staying with Bro. David Dever.

Bro. David Dever has lost his secular job, and will be traveling soon.  He and Sis. Debbie still must sell their house in order to get moved elsewhere.  Remember them in your prayers.
