Romans 3:23, "For ALL have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." We are ALL sinners. We are ALL in need of a Savior.
Romans 5:19, "For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous." The one man who was disobedient was Adam. Therefore, by Adam sin entered the world. We are all descendants of Adam and have received that seed of sin. BUT by the obedience of one Jesus Christ, we shall be made righteous.
Romans 5:8, "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Christ died for you. God loved you so much, He died so you could have life.
Romans 10:9 & 13, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, though shalt be saved. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." You need to acknowledge your belief in Jesus as Lord and Savior of your life. It involves more than a belief in "a" God. It takes a belief from the heart in "the" God, Jesus. If you call upon Him, He will save you.
Ephesians 2:8 &9, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is a gift from God: not of works, lest any man should boast." We cannot do enough good works to get into heaven. It only takes the gift that God provides you through the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ on the cross.
