Tenchi is any ordinary earth boy who happens to meet Reoko and Nehoshi in a space ship crash. Reoko is a girl who is a Space Pirate and Nehoshi is a girl who is a Gallaxy Police. Later on Tenchi meets more space aliens. Ayaka is the next one Tenchi meets, she is the Princess of Jurai and then he meets Sasami who is the small sister of Ayaka. They than meet Washu a mad scientist. The problem is they all have a crush on Tenchi...
