Evidently, a lot of people since he makes most of the Manhattan newsies 'nervous'. With his gold-tipped cane and perfect aim with a sling shot (plus all the scary, tough guys backing him up) he is the most respected and feared newsie in New York. The mysterious key he wears around his neck has baffled many-a-fan and continues to do so, sparking many tales and rumors about it. He is a good leader, yet tough, and looks out for his boy's best intrest. He doesn't take decision making lightly and refuses to let other people make up his mind for him. Although it can be difficult to earn Spot's trust and help it is worth the trouble to do so. Spot's a very quick tempered boy who wouldn't hesitate for a second to jump into a fight if he thought it benefit him. |
