Our Activities

Monthly Meetings
Our General Meeting convenes on the third Friday of the month from 10:30am to 11:30am. Our meeting's location varies from month to month, based on the meeting's agenda. For example, if we are having a guest speaker, then we will meet at a local church. If not, we might meet at the library or at a local park. The club newsletter, including a calendar of events for the month, will be sent via mail or e-mail (member's choice) at the end of the month. Visitors are welcome at these meetings and are encouraged to attend 2 monthly meetings before they join, in order to give them the opportunity to meet MOMS Club members, ask questions, and understand what we're about.

MOMS Night Out
Once a month we enjoy a night out with the other moms. Most of us prefer to leave our children at home with dad or with a babysitter when attending MOMS Night Out. Recent MOMS Night Out activities include dessert at Melting Pot, games at Dave and Buster's, a visit to a coffeehouse, plus a movie night and a Wedding Night, both at members' homes!

Cooking Club
The cooking club is a great chance to get together and eat great food cooked by our members! Each month our ChairMOM assigns a various cooking theme and we each bring one dish and recipe from that assigned theme. We socialize, eat the various dishes and vote for our favorite recipe that will be printed in the following month's newsletter!

Kids Crafts
Kids Crafts gives us a chance to get crafty and have some fun! The kids get to indulge their creative side and accomplish something good at the same time. Recently we have made Halloween signs and Christmas door hangings, both given to residents of Heatherwilde Assisted Living Center during a visit. The kids really enjoy sharing their wonderful creations.

Book Club
Each month we get together somewhere kid-friendly and discuss our latest Book Club selection. Our list includes fiction and non-fiction - and it is voted on by the club!

..And Much, Much More!
Our calendar is always filled with a variety of activities for the whole club to enjoy. We take trips to local parks, story time at the library, a swim at the pool, a trip to the zoo or a museum, and a whole lot more!
