We left at different times but managed to meet up at Pit Stop 2. Mmmm fresh socks...
This is a sweep van. They honk and wave and are wonderful. Waving back is a great way to remember to stretch your arms.

Lunch was served at the College of St. Catherine's. One of Associated Colleges of the Twin Cities, an association which includes my alma mater Hamline University.
The theme for lunch was The Wizard of Oz, but I shall think of Glenda as the Toilet Paper Fairy.
Compared to Diz's heel, my feet are in great shape!
I loved everyone at the cheering stations, but how great to have one of our very own! Naomi was great enough to ride her bike out and hold a sign for us.

All the walkers put on matching shirts for the closing ceremonies. The survivors wore pink.

First all the blue shirted walkers processed into the closing ceremonies and formed a wide circular band. Then the crew came in and formed a band inside. Then the survivors filled the center with pink.
Do you see the parasol with the ribbons hanging from it in front of the blue cube? I believe someone carried that the whole way.
See the woman in the foreground wiping the tears from her check. She wasn't the only one.
