These are my photos from the day after the walk.
Home - Day 0 - Day 1 - Day 2 - Day 3The left mummy. The flat of the foot has Second skin covered with a large piece of moleskin. The side of the big toe has molefoam with a cutout in the middle. There are stips of moleskin holding the molefoam in place. |
The right foot had a variety of small blisters on the toes which I decided to ignore. The heel has molefoam with a cutout held in place with strips of moleskin. |
I peeled of the bandages and saw that my fiend "the sixth toe" is still with me on the side of my left toe. It was the only blister from Day 1 and it never hurt. I can't believe we forgot to name it. The large white area on the flat of my foot was a blister that I believe was triggered by the way the med tent covered my "sixth toe" after they drained it the second time. It did hurt. A lot. Note to future walkers: Learn to treat your own blisters. |
It is near impossible to photograph blisters between your own toes. |
A four year old can take a good photo. (Well, Photoshop was necessary to center the feet...) |
I wanted a photo of my hair. Zoe took this one, too. No Photoshop necessary. |
There will be more photos to come. I'll get my husband and the good camera, though.
