Hello!! If you're wondering about the name...Ohtori means Phoenix in Japanese...but more importantly, Ohtori Academy is the setting for one of my favorite anime's - Revolutionary Girl Utena (Shoujo Kakumei Utena). Anywho...if you're wondering what makes Utena so revolutionary I'll sum up the story (well not really but it will give you a taste):

While I love other anime's equally to Utena, including Fushigi Yuugi ("The Mysterious Play"), I just found Utena so unique and well...revolutionary, noble, and girl-power-ish in a very classy way that I wanted to dedicate one page to this anime.

Utena Tenjou: Our hero...this little lady wants to be a prince who saves princesses, yet she keeps the ring her prince gave her. Utena is noble to a fault but her weakness is her trusting nature. She will eventually have to choose between being a prince who can save a princess and being a princess who lives happily ever after with her prince.

Anthy Himemiya: The Rose Bride is quite mysterious. All that is known about the Rose Bride is that the duelists fight for possesion of her because it is said that having final possesion of the Rose Bride will give you the power of Dios, to grant miracles, eternity, shining things, and the power to revolutionize the world. She will do her master's bidding...but her intentions are never known.
