Note to visitors of MormonNoMore:
I was a fully committed, temple recommend carrying, standard abiding member when "the day" came in which my eyes were opened.  My oldest daughter was just baptized 3 days prior and I'd attended the temple the month before.  I wasn't looking to "get out".  I am not a bitter former member who couldn't live the life.  I am simply a person who loves God  and I choose Him over this man-made religion.  Here I am, now over 5 years after my decision to leave the LDS church, and I am still at peace with my decision.  Because I left, I lost friends who were like family to me.  However, I have grown closer in my walk with God.
Don't let anyone box you in and tell you "don't listen" or "don't read" that which they call "anti-mormon".  Truth is not afraid of the darkness, it brings light to the darkness.   God doesn't want you based on your works, He wants you based on your faith in Him and His Son Jesus Christ.
I encourage you to read, study and learn all there is to learn about the LDS church before you join, or if already a member, do it now.   Turn on some Praise & Worship music or Southern Gospel music.  Read from the NIV version of the Bible as well as the KJV.  Visit a Christian Church.  Let your eyes be opened, your heart rejoice and your burden lifted.

                                                                                                Yours In Christ,  Desiree

The LORD Protects You

I look to the hills!
Where will I find help?
It will come from the L
ORD,
who created the heavens and the earth.

The L
ORD, is your protector,
and he won't go to sleep
or let you stumble.
-----
The L
ORD is your protector,
there at your right side
to shade you from the sun.
You won't be harmed
by the sun during the day
or by the moon at night.

The L
ORD will protect you
and keep you safe from all dangers.
The L
ORD will protect you
now and always wherever you go.
Psalm 121, 1-3, 5-8

JESUS OR JOSEPH?
Mormon Historical & Archeological Research
There once was a man who lived believing and trusting in the Bible as the true Word of God and in Jesus Christ as the only Savior for mankind.  The man died.  He was immediately brought before the judgement seat of God.  God looked down upon him from His throne and said, "Tell me, why do you think I should let you into my heaven?.......
