We had a GREAT time on the beautiful grounds of Maranatha Bible Camp, in Muskegon, MIchigan. The reunion was hosted by Jack & Leslie Schreur. We appreciate all the time and effort Leslie and Jack put in to coordinating this event. The time was defintely memorable and special!
Those present were Glenn & Polly Winslow, Terry & Sharon McGill (still 'Stejskal' at the time!), Beth Jones, Larry Garlick, Brian Beckon, Pat Foster, Tim & Betsy Brittain (and little Ian - only two months old - a real 'cutie', and very well behaved!), Dan Lam, Mark & Vicki Skiles (Ashley, Amanda & Andrew - very active, friendly and a joy to watch!), Jack & Leslie Schreur (Erin & Jonathan - very smart and good host/hostess too!) and myself.
Activities included 'catching up' time, beach volleyball, eating out at a nice Chinese restaurant, driving in a thunder storm for some ice cream, eating jiao-tzes and reminiscing of old forgotten days, people, trips, activities and pranks, and much more! Late night games such as Outburst and Trivial Pursuit brought out 'interesting' (we'll leave it at that) personalities. This, and much more brought back many precious memories and renewed even more special friendships.
It was a privilege to be able to meet and interact with each of the spouses and children. There is so much to learn from each one! (Wish there were time to describe each one - but, as it is, this letter is already l...a...t...e...)
We missed all of you who couldn't make it - understanding that you would have, if it were possible. Maybe the next one?? Speaking of which...more info about the Next Class of '82 reunion coming...
