The FDA recently issued a warning about using Motilium (domperidone) as a galactagogue. It is my personal opinion (and the opinion of many lactation professionals) that this is a scare tactic resulting from pressure by one or more formula manufacturers -- one of these manufacturers is, in fact, associated with the manufacturer of Reglan, Motilium's U.S. competitor.
