ST.  AUSTELL METHODIST CIRCUIT
Mount Charles Methodist Church is a member church of St. Austell Methodist Circuit in mid Cornwall.  The circuit stretches from Lostwithiel on the River Fowey in the East to St. Stephen in the West; from the A30 trunk road in the North to the fishing village of Mevagissey in the South.

While China Clay and fish were the dominant industries of St. Austell Bay, visitors now think in terms of The Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and Daphne du Maurier Country. But however you see our area, it has much to offer.

The St. Austell Methodist Circuit has 29 churches which are served by 5 ordained ministers, two full time lay ministers and a full time Youth Worker.

There are also 5 Retired Ministers, 6 Associate Lay Workers and 47 active Local (Lay) Preachers who go to make up a strong team.

The Superintendent Minister is
The Rev. A. John Kendalll.

St. Austell town centre is undergoing a radical rebuilding scheme and at the same time many of our churches have been upgraded.

All our churches have Sunday Worship and many of them have meetings during the week for Fellowship and Bible Study.

Whether you live in the area or have come on holiday you can be sure of a warm welcome if you worship with us.

The China Clay tips of the 'Cornish Alps' and the fish from St Austell Bay are strong features of our area.
