Linda

Linda

I was fortunate to meet Linda during my foray in the farmlands of Minnesota. She worked with my husband (at the time) at a farm implement dealer, and though I think we both liked each other then, we really didn't become friends until after my divorce. I ran into her at the local supermarket and after chatting a few minutes made an arrangement to have lunch, and a great friendship was formed.

Together we attended BE (a workshop for rebuilding after a relationship ends), became volunteers for the American Red Cross and organized a bone marrow drive getting about 75 people registered on the National Bone Marrow Registy.

Now, though she has moved to Montana, we share the same passion for rubber stamping. In October 2001, I visited her in Montana. We explored Yellowstone National Park by day, and stamped till our travel weary bodies made us fall asleep at about 8 PM. But then we'd be up at 4 or 5 in the morning and start stamping some more. Linda is a truly beautiful person inside and out. Her passion for life, is much like mine, and it glows all around her. It's hard to describe the magical friendship I feel with her. I miss her greatly, but will always encourage her to live life to the fullest, and fully embrace every experience.
