Delayed though it may have been, winter is in full swing this week! The trees may be glazed in ice & sparkling with snow, but MPHA is making plans & thinking Spring!
A fantastic meeting was held on January 21st, producing lots of great ideas & enthusiasm. I encourage everyone to look around the website & check out what's new with MPHA. Make sure to download the minutes from our January meeting. Our next meeting will be held in conjunction with the Stallion Expo on March 10th at the Coral Gables Restaurant in Lansing, Michigan. I look forward to seeing you there!
Big plans are in the works for the upcoming show season - with sponsors showing interest and our members gaining momentum, 2007 is going to be a banner year for all of the Palomino enthusiasts throughout the state. NEW for 2007, our shows will host WEEKEND HIGH POINT AWARDS for ALL divisions. Also, our Open Shows (all breeds invited) will be divided into three age groups, with reasonable show fees. Following the show on Saturday May 19th, MPHA will be hosting an auction to raise money for our youth association. Everyone is invited to attend, eat, bid, & enjoy the company of a great group of people.
