While talking about Social Security Pres. Bush has pushed through legislation to drill Alaskan Wildlife preserves for oil, to make bankruptcies law tougher on people trying to get out of debt unless they can afford to buy an exorbitant home because those are exempt, and to make it harder to individuals involved in class action lawsuits to hold corporations accountable. This President and his disciples (Tom Delay, Don Rumsfeld, Paul Wolfowitz, George Tenet) are all about avoiding accountability aren't they. All of these bills and Social Security privitization are policies created by large corporations who tell Pres. Bush to support these bills that will only benefit the large corporations themselves and then they will be able to give more money to the Republicans.
All of these bills are giveaways to large corporations at the expense of individual Americans and choosing Alberto Gonzales to be Attorney General, Deputy Defense Secretary Paul Wolfowitz to head the World Bank, and John Bolton as ambassador to the U.N. that he despises are all choices that show this is the policy he wants all of America's leadership to uphold. These choices show that civil rights (Mr. Gonzales is pro-business and pro-torture), good war planning(Mr. Wolfowitz largely planned the Iraq war), and foreign allies(Mr. Bolton has only enemies at the U.N. which is has said is mostly useless) are all enemies of Pres. Bush. |
