| Thank you for coming to February Lessons. This month we will be discussing the impact that secret places has had on life at Hogwarts. Lesson 4A- Recently discovered at Hogwart's School of Witchcraft and Wizardry (although it is believed to have been created by the founders) was the Room of Requirement. If one passes it three times thinking about what they desire and a room appears for them. While this is cool, it is also very dangerous. It could be used for evil as well as good. Most recently it was used to go against the authority at Hogwart's when it was ruled by the tyrant Professor Delores Umbridge. CRITICAL THINKING: How could it be used for evil? 3. How was the room used most recently? EXTRA CREDIT (+10 HP if acceptable): Do you think the Room of Requirement has helped or hindered relations between the houses at Hogwart's School of Witchcraft and Wizardry? Do you think it has done either? Lesson 4B- We've aready discussed the Chamber of Secrets (see lessons 2A and 2B) in our class so I won't go into that as a second secret place. Let's discuss the prefect's bathroom... This gorgeous and large bathroom, once protected by the password "pinefresh", can only be used by prefects. It has a super-sized tub which spews many different colored bubbles and aromas. The regular bathrooms at Hogwarts, while slightly more lavish than a muggle college's, are not anything spectacular.
