LUMBER (and approximate cost) 6 sheets of the cheapest 3/4" plywood you can find ($15/sheet) 6 sheets of the cheapest 3/8" plywood you can find ($10/sheet) 6-7 sheets of sanded 3/8" plywood ($12-15/sheet) a lot of 10' 2x4's ($2.50/board) a few 2x6's ($3/board) shims (to level out ramp when built)($2) |
METAL Big Box of 2 1/2" wood screws ($5-12/box) Medium Box of 1 1/4" wood screws ($4) 2----10', 2" Conduit for Coping ($8 per 10' pipe) 6----3 1/2" long, Round Head Bolts (with washers, nuts and lock washers) 14-- 2 1/2" long, Round Head Bolts (with washers, nuts and lock washers) |

I know for some building this ramp may be difficult, but it's not like you are going to die if you make a mistake. Just take your time and make sure you do it right the first time. It is very cool seeing a mini ramp coming together, but don't get too excited...if you build it right you will be able to skate it for years to come! |
