R U L E S   &   E L I G I B I L I T Y

1.  To be eligible to compete in the Mrs. Maryland United States Pageant, all delegates must adhere to the following:

*Entrant must be married and living with her husband
*Entrant must be at least 21 years of age at the time of application
*Entrant must be of good moral character
*Entrant must be a citizen of the United States
*Entrant must be a natural born female

2.  Entrants must complete the Mrs. Maryland United States Application. With the completed application, all entrants must submit a recent headshot (via email) and submit a $25 non-refundable application fee. Applications will not be considered without headshot and application fee. Entrants may apply for any county or city title that has NOT already been assumed.

3.  The Mrs. Maryland United States panel will select a delegate for each prescribed county  "at large"-- that is, by review of the application and headshot. Entrants will be informed of their status no later than 2 weeks after receipt of their completed application. Judge's decisions are final.

4.  Once selected to become a delegate in the Mrs. Maryland United States Pageant, each delegate will be responsible for a $525 non-refundable entry fee. The entry fee may be paid in full or thru installments. All entry fees paid thru installment payments will require a $250 deposit, payable immediately, with the remaining balance of $275 due no later than February 28, 2006. Sorry, no exceptions.

Those applicants who enter and are selected as delegates
after February 28, 2006 are considered "late applicants" and are not eligible for installment payments. Late applicants must remit the full balance within 10 days of notification of selection. For your convenience, Mrs. Maryland United States is now accepting all payments online via PayPal. See Delegate Central for more information.

5. By applying to become a delegate in the Mrs. Maryland United States Pageant, contestants consent to the use of their names, photos and likeness on the Mrs. Maryland United States website and any other media and/or publications.

6.  The Mrs. Maryland United States director reserves the right to refuse entry to competition or dismiss a contestant from competition for reasons not becoming of the Mrs. Maryland United States Pageant. All decisions are final.
