Friends, mate! |
In 1970-something, my parents house-sat for a friend of theirs. They basically became infatuated with the house and jokingly said once the owner returned, "If you ever think of selling this house, call us first!" Well, early in the year of nineteen-ninety-eight, we (meaning the parental units) got a call from the owner and took him up the offer. The pictures that follow are images of the few friends I have accumulated in this yuppie-filled "town" in the past couple of years... |

Dude, friendships online?! |
Yep, friendships can be made online. Even love can be found online! During the first summer in my new house, I knew no one and therefore talked to no one. I found this site, www.kissasylum.com, that told me anything and everything I needed/wanted to know about KISS. After a few days of just visiting the front page, I started to explore the different sections. The chat room has provided me with more friends than I could ever imagine. I never knew how many KISS fans there were scattered around the world, let alone thought I would find and befriend/be befriended by so many. All of my friendships with these people pictured here have stemmed, either directly or indirectly, from that very chat room. |
