OFFER OF REWARD


        
WHEREAS on or about September 28, 2001, a crime punishable by death or

  imprisonment of more than one year, was discovered to wit: the
death of Zoltan Kiss;  and

           
WHEREAS Jonathan C. Benedict, State's Attorney for the Judicial District of
  Fairfield,

  has made application to me for a reward to be publicly offered to the person or persons who

  shall give information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons guilty of

  this crime;


              
NOW THEREFORE, in accordance with and by virtue of the provisions of

  Section 54-48 of the General Statutes, I do hereby publicly offer a reward not exceeding the

  amount of


                                                   
FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS

to the person or persons who shall give information leading to the arrest and conviction of

  the person or persons guilty of this crime, whether found within this state or elsewhere,

  which reward shall be paid to the informer by the State by order of the Court before which

  such convictions are had.  This Offer of Reward supercedes all other previous offers.
