I am interested in becoming a member of the NAACP. Currently I am involved in a Mentor program, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. and International F.& A.M. Masons and Order of the Eastern Stars. I care deeply about the African-American community and I am willing to be involved in any organization that promotes cultural awareness, and justice for the positivity, cultural awareness, and justice for the African-American community.

T.S. of Memphis, TN

Hi my name is T.S., and I am a junior at the University of Memphis. I ran across this web site while me and a friend were trying to find out what it would take to start some type of organization of our own here on campus. I have been looking for something or some organization that would better me socially as a Black woman. Being at college for three years has definitely shown me that greek is not always the way to go. They may have a mission statement that says a great deal about who they are and what they stand for, but that isn't always what they demonstrate. I would really like to find out more about this organization and what it takes to become a member.

Do you have a chapter in Northern California?  Your group is EXACTLY what I've been looking for.
