My wings withered and my heart crumbled...
Like a fortress brought down by a raging flood,
My eyes filled with tears and my legs limp, I tumbled...
I hit the ground so hard the earth shook and the universe rumbled...
The shockwave of my disillusionment permeated the stars.
The sky turned gray and the heavens moaned...
I could even see *Mother Universe* crying from afar.
This was not the way things were suppose to be, THE WAY THEY ARE !!!!

*OHHHHHHHHH* I screamed out on bended knees...
My face cupped in my hands, tears flowing free...
Then an angel touched my face and said..
"It is the way it must be for you this lifetime you see...
It is your fate to know the pain of love and need,
But upon their feast you will not feed"...
Then the angel helped me to my feet...
Dried my tears with his wings, so tenderly and sweet...
He wrapped his arm around my shoulder and spoke
One more time to say: "It is done, let us leave now my dove"
And we drifted away into the gray sky
With the echoing sounds of angels crying from up above...
Crying for me and the lose of TRUE LOVE...
