This page will look a lot better after I get some pictures put up on it. But Honestly I was sitting around thinking Women in video games have gone a long way, and I think some of the female characters seem to get more involved then the male ones. So this is a shrine to the top ten female characters in video game history.

Honorable Mentions
(Women who didn't make the cut)
Zelda (Legends of Zelda *Nes*) - One of the first women to ever appear in a video game, even if it was just to save her!
Rydia (Final Fantasy 2 *Snes*) - Even though in other games she hasn't helped, she brought fourth summoners to the Final Fantasy Fans!
Tron Bonne (Mega Man Legends *PS1*) - She was a good asset to the whole Mega Man series and has lots of fans showing Mega Man up!
Mother Brain (Metroid *Nes*) - The First Female End Boss! Yet she's more memorable as the evil one in Captain N the Game Master!
Koudelka (Koudelka *PS1*) - Though not an inspirational game she is a bad ass chick that you just can't help but love!
Pauline (Donkey Kong (Atari?) - She was one of the first women in a video game. And in case you odn't know her she's also Mario's Girl Friend from brooklyn and I believe they tied her into the movie when they made it.
Shorty/Kitty N/Kelly/Pinky/Frida (Bust-A-Grove) - These five women all starred in one video game and made dancing simulators what they are today!
