I had listed that the pics below were of Bruce, the mechancial shark from JAWS. A couple of alert folk emailed me to let me konw this is not the original Bruce. It is the shark used in JAWS 4. Thanks for the info!
I went to Universal Studios, Florida, in October 2001 and was able to see the mechanical shark from one of the films. Unfortunately it is pretty bad shape. It's been sitting out in the sun on a lot for many years. All of the teeth are missing, and the skin is peeling. Even considering the bad shape the shark is in, it was still terrific to see it in person. I felt great awe walking up to this shark and standing next to him. |
