What the fuck has been going on? | ||||
02/03/06 I posted a few more pics...take a look. 01/04/06 HAPPY NEW YEAR !!! I hope all is going well for everyone out there. I t has been a good year for Dwayne and myself. Dwayne got a promotion; and the 'stros went to the World Series...I know, I know...we didn't win it but it was still the greatest season ever! I am proud of my boys and look forward to another great year at Minute Maid Park. I have posted a few more pics from various things we have done at the end of the year so go take a look on the pics page. 09/26/05 For those of you wondering, we made it through hurricane Rita unscathed. Fortunately for us (but not to our neighbors to the east), Rita took a last minute jog to the east and spared us the brunt of her wrath. We ended up getting a lot of wind (prolly 40 mph sustained and gusts up to 60 mph) and not much rain at all. A couple of our trees in the back went a bit cock-eyed but nothing a bit of rope and a stake wont fix. Thankfully, we did not get the 120+ mph winds they were first forcasting for our area. But, when it comes to hurricanes, one persons blessing is anothers curse... Our neighbors to the north and east of us got hit hard. Lake Livingston reported 117 mph winds at the dam and part of it was damages which prompted them to release 80k - 100k cu.ft./sec. from the lake which most likely flooded a good number of folks downstream along the Trinity River...I bet the house I used to live in on a horseshoe lake off the Trinity is flooded. Beaumont/Pt. Arthur is going to take a while to recover from the damage...and lets not forget the folks in Louisana who got blasted also. My brother lives on the coast on Boliver Pensula and we have yet to hear anything on how his house weathered the storn...Lets hope that all is well for him. That area took a big hit from the storm. Could be 2 weeks or more before they even have electricity back to Boliver. 07/29/05 Yep..I seldom update this crap but some people have been on me to upload some pics from our Olympic National Forest/ Mt. St. Helens trip we took last month so here they are. 01/06/05 HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!!!! This past year has been wonderful. Dwayne and I have buit on our relationship, we have made some new friends and got better aquanted with some old friends. We hope to build on the new friendships and hopefully, meet more folks to enjoy life with. We have done more to the house and have plans to do more to make it a comfortable place to be. We recently had 4,000 worth of rock delivered and made into moss rock wall beds and more trails (I will post some pics later)throughout what we have already landscaped. I cant wait till the spring to fill the beds with new plantings. We also recently went on another cruise...a bit cold and rough (lots of wind) but we went to a place called Xcaret in Plya Del Carmen. Lovely place. We are going to plan a trip just to spend a few days there. 11/08/2004 New pics from our trip to Universal Studios Orlando Halloween Horror Nights. 8/11/2004 I have posted some new pics of the inside and outside of the house ...nothing exciting. I am in the process of moving all my photos to my picture page so some of the links are down at the moment. Check back in a couple of days and it should be up and running. 6/27/2004 Well...we have officially been in the house for a year now. So far, everything is turning out wonderful. The landscape is starting to fill in well but the lawn is another story completely. We have been religiously following a fertilizer/weeding plan but in the past few weeks...it went from thick and green to sickly and yellow. Oh fucking well. 6/21/2004 I have posted some pics from the cruise here. 5/10/04 Well, Dwayne will be off on our criuse pretty soon...I would say that i will post pics of the trip but i still have not gotten around to posting the ones fron Hawai'i last year. Oh well, just check back in a few and maybe they will be up! Also, I am working on a new links page. If you would like your page listed here just drop me an e-mail with the addy and I will check it out and add it to the mix. 4/30/2004 Congrats to Jeff and Kristi on the birth of their first child...Dylan John Hebert ! 3/10/2004 Ok...So I don't update this thing much...oh well...I might get around to it later. In the meantime, check out this site. Nine times out of ten it houses inside jokes and other lame-ass crap but at times...there is some funny crap there. This page is webmaster(bated) by my bonehead partner in crime at work. I also posted a few more photos to my yahoo picture page ...check them out when you get a chance. I will be posting more later. 9/16/2003 I finally got around to posting some of the semi-completed pics of the pool...Dwayne and I did all the landscaping ourselves. We dug the holes for 12 ft Magnolia trees in ankle deep gumbo in the pouring rain...hauled 15 yards of dirt and mulch...planted 12 vines, at least 15 shrubs, 6 trees, countless bedding plants and laid 3000 sq/ft of sod...oh yeah...and the 45ft garden path. But in the end, it all paid off. 9/13/2003 For all you fans of this piss poor excuse for a website, I added a webcam to the mix. Please, don't be IMing me asking to "choke the chicken" "spank the monkey" or stick my fingers in my ass cause it won't be happ'nin...Although, that is not to say that you might get a fleeting glimps at the ol luv spuds as I am known to walk about the house nekkid... 6/12/2003 It has been a while since I have had a chance to update this page cause I have had a lot on my plate lately... We resently had a house built in the Summerwood section of far northeast Houston. It has been a really neat experience watchin it go from a empty lot to the finished product. It is quite a change going from a 900 sq.ft. apartment to a 2500 sq.ft. 2-story house. We have just about got the inside squared away with decorating and just have to wait for the pool to be put in (I hope by July 4th) to landscape the backyard then it will be home sweet home. |
