I enjoy reading, computers, shooting pool, throwing darts, listening to my eclectic collection of music, and watching movies. I also enjoy learning about certain aspects of the paranormal. Rollplaying and chatting with my friends are also some of my favorite hobbies. I love artsy craftsy things, coloring, painting (acryllics mainly) drawing.. and Music.. I play the violin, piano and Cello... I love taking care of kids, though in recent years I have found out that I am not as patient as I was in the past. Babies and kids up to about 2 or 3 are my favorite. I love watching them grow, and seeing the impact of things that I or thier parents have tought them. I am the youngest of seven kids, ranging from my 21 to my oldest brother's almost 36. In the last ten years of my life.. i think my biggest accomplishments were graduating, finding a full time job, moving out of my parents house, getting my driver's liscense, and having been fourtinate to watch my sisters children for the last ten years. Watching the 3 of them.. the oldest is 9 almost ten, and the youngest will be a year in may... grow up and learn and seeing the way they develop into their own unique person, has only made the want for a family of my own stronger. Some day when I grow up and find the person I want to spend the rest of my life with, I'll have my own children to take care of. But right now, thats not in the picture yet. So I guess I'll just wait a while longer. Until its my turn. |
As you can guess, i was alwys the type that wondered what it was like growing up in another family. It seemed like the main question that i was asked, was "What it is like growing up in a big family?" Well I always wondered what it would be like to grow up in a little family. Big family's are not bad at all. I mean... .Every morning you have to fight with your sisters or brothers on who gets the bathroom first... Or who gets the spot underneath the kitchen table over the register.. I remember spending plenty of mornings sitting underneath that table eating my breakfast because it was ten times warmer underneath the table, than it was in the rest of the kitchen. I think the best part of big family life, was we rarely ever needed to have anyone else come over so we could play base ball.. Heck there were enough players when all of us kids were home. Granted when ever we started playing the neighborhood kids would come in and join. ~shrugs~ The more the merrier. The only problem I have found, is not being able to find a place of your own to stop and breathe.. or just get away. Because.. granted the most logical room in the house was the Bathroom, but you just get up there, and the next thing you know, someone is banging on the door telling you that they need to go now!. Anyway. I guess I shouldnt really dwell on it. Because I guess when it comes down to it, I wouldn't trade it in for the life of me. Plus it has changed to the seven of us kids, the inlaws, and the 7 neices and nephews. (plus all the ones that my mom and dad "adopted" along the way.) |
My Family.. I guess I am too cheap to scan a picture of us all... But then again, when were all together it's very rare. Plus it would probably fill up a whole page if I were to count everyone else besides immediate family. |

Unforutunately, I lost someone Very dear to my heart this October. After a battle with health problems, my mother passed away on the 14th. I've lost many people in my life, but loosing her had to be the hardest. |
